NEED FOR OUTREACH
ENTRY-DM DCs will be trained in outreach activities as part of the transferable skill courses. They will participate in open days at schools and in universities, will mentor young students and will set up various social media channels to reach a wide audience. As information about the project becomes available, it will be posted here.

DC9 Àngela Natividad participated in a Rare Disease Event organized by the Polytechnic University of Valencia and a student group from the university called Microengineers. This event brought together researchers, patients, and associations with the aim of raising awareness about rare diseases. It was especially targeted at university students mostly from biotechnology, biomedicine, and biomedical engineering.
Àngela had the opportunity to talk about myotonic dystrophy, share her knowledge about the disease, and raise awareness among the students. The program is available
